On Monday June, 22nd, media personality and 20-year stylist veteran Stephen Marinaro, best known as TheSalonGuy, opened his education center in New Brunswick, NJ, TheSalonGuy Studios. This first ever appointment-based education platform and beauty media space is based on the familiar salon booking format, with stylists now able to schedule education time just as easily and conveniently as their clients book a haircut. The studio’s grand opening and first day of training will be held on June 22, 2015 at the 1,800-square-foot salon and studio space located on the second floor of 354 George Street, New Brunswick, New Jersey.

To celebrate this innovative, one-on-one, stylist-to-stylist style educational training, Rosa Martinez, owner of Salon Rosa M in Narberth, PA worked with Stephen to create a video showing how to replicate Khloe Kardashian's "ecaille," or tortoiseshell, hair color.

Long hair and editorial styling expert Wade Lee Richards (www.thehouseofwadelee.com), cutting expert Tom Harris of Paul Mitchell (www.panico.com/tom-harris.html), colorist Rosa Martinez, makeup artist Jasmine Kerecz of Mirabella, and Master Barber Mitch aka "The Bearded Barber" are just a few of the trainers lined-up for the much-anticipated opening day at TheSalonGuy Studios. Stylists will be booking specialists in barbering, cutting, coloring, styling, and makeup. Learn more or register at www.thesalonguystudios.com. Spaces are limited.
