Andis Launches "Legacy Throwdown" Facebook Contest

 

Barbers and stylists can show their clipper prowess, earn bragging rights and win $500 of Andis professional tools in Andis’ new Facebook campaign, the American Legacy Throwdown Haircutting Challenge. All hair professionals need to do is cut the featured style (inspired by the company’s American Legacy Collection) and enter a before and after shot. The contest will run a total of six weeks on Facebook, including three weeks for submissions and three weeks for voting.

“Our Legacy Throwdown Haircutting challenge provides a fun forum for professionals to showcase their talents and win fantastic tools,” says Karen Formico, Vice President of Marketing for Andis. “At the same time, it allows Andis Company to interact and engage with a key segment of our customer base and provide them with educational content on how to cut popular styles with clippers.”

The first style challenge is the Fauxhawk; fans can begin voting starting June 9, and the Fauxhawk Legacy Throwdown champ will be named on the site three weeks later.
